ires, a pandemic, and more fires have created a tough situation for our local businesses. Without as many tourists as usual, it’s up to those of us who love the character of downtown Jacksonville to support our local merchants and restaurants.
Rotary is doing our part with our Rotary Loves Jacksonville campaign, and we’re inviting you to participate. Stop by the visitor’s center near the post office and pick up some cards like the one you see in the photo. Leave a card behind each time you shop. Merchants will be able to enter these cards in a drawing for a $500 cash prize later in December.
While you can leave a card anytime you purchase something locally, we’ll be featuring 4-5 businesses each week. If you haven’t paid them a visit in a while, stop by to see what’s new. See if you can make a purchase—large or small—to show your support. Featured businesses will be listed on our Facebook page (be sure to like our page) or on Instagram.
